U-BOAT Watch by Nieuwus U-BOAT Watch by Nieuwus
I decided to apply the same render and camera techniques like the business-card render,  to re-render this watch i made a while back.
I think it's much more realistic this way.

Update 7 March: Changed the textures of the watch and it doesn't look as flat as the previous render.

Made in Cinema 4D

Great work! I also tried to make some watches yesterday -> timcoch.deviantart.com/art/Cin…
But your materials looks way better and realistic! +fav

Sure you can, took me about 2 years to get to this point.
With hard work and dedication, you can achieve everything you want :)

very nice model but to me the material of the watch looks a little to smooth as its never that flat looking when a item is brand new! (maybe try a little more aggressive of a bump map on the strap (throw some noise at it) and watch face materials as they look way to perfect)

Thanks for the tip! You are totally right, i made a different watch a couple weeks ago with some new textures and imported the wrong one in this scene.
That one has more noise and diffuse to it and, like you said, looks more realistic :)
